Born and raised in Palo Alto, Laurel attended Walter Hays Elementary, Castilleja, Palo Alto High School and UCLA. She has an intimate understanding of real estate and the local markets as she has been exposed to the real estate business her entire life. She has teenage twin boys and is deeply rooted in the social fabric of the local community.
She has focused on building her business by providing the highest standard of integrity and implementing a strong work ethic year after year. Given her emphasis on creating and building strong and positive personal relationships with her clients and fellow REALTORS®, Laurel has earned great respect in the industry since joining her mother, Leannah Hunt, in partnership in 2005.
Laurel understands that buying or selling a home is likely one of the largest financial and emotional decisions people make in their lifetime. She shares a warm empathy for her clients, believes that every relationship is unique and will adapt to her clients' individual needs.
Prior to formally entering real estate, Laurel earned her degree in Political Science from UCLA and gained significant marketing experience as Director of Outbound Marketing for CNET Networks.
She is a member of the National and California Association of REALTORS®, the Silicon Valley Association of REALTORS®, and is a Graduate of Stanford University's Negotiation Strategies Program. Chair of Sereno Palo Alto's 1% For Good Charitable Foundation, selecting non-profits to benefit from the program.
Laurel currently resides with her husband and twin boys in Palo Alto.
