Embrace the Journey with Jekara   I am Jekara Wilson, and I aim to provide the best service possible to my clients. Which means providing a personal and concierge service on all levels. As a Bay Area Native, I was raised in Palo Alto and have lived on the Peninsula and South Bay my entire life. I feel as though my lifetime of living in the Bay Area has provided me with an abundance of information that I can provide for my clients. I have a lot of knowledge when it comes to neighborhoods including school districts from Burlingame all the way to San Jose and over the hill to the mountain and coastal communities of Santa Cruz County. Before getting into real estate, I directed and operated Palo Alto Volleyball Club as well as coached for Palo Alto, Mountain View, and Presentation High Schools, in which my true passion for my community really started. I have worked with various non-profit organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club to ensure that team sports were accessible to everyone, which provided a sense of family and ‘home' for my players, families, and coaches alike.   As a real estate agent, I want to make every client feel assured that I have their best interest at heart and will make sure that I am their biggest advocate from beginning to end no matter what it takes. I believe knowledge is power which is accomplished by constant and transparent communication at every step of the way. Especially when it comes to first-time buyers, I want to make sure that you know every aspect of potentially the biggest purchase of your life. I have been a coach for over two decades and some of the most important values I have learned is that trust and support are key, this is why I take this approach in any client–agent relationship to make you feel safe throughout the process.   I have many local resources and connections that I have developed in my community over the years, ranging from, home inspections, repairs, landscaping, staging, interior design, remodels, new construction, and building codes. I work with my clients even past the date of escrow as I believe that the client–agent relationship isn't just a quick journey it is one that lasts for life!    In my free time I enjoy the beach, hikes with my dog, Orangetheory Fitness, home design, gardening, refinishing furniture, and Bay Area sports! Working under and operating a non-profit organization for a decade I couldn't have found a better place to work than Christie's International Real Estate Sereno. Given that our company started Sereno's 1% for Good Campaign that helps local non-profit organizations I truly feel at home.
