Realtor Born and raised in the Santa Clara Valley, I attended Archbishop Mitty High School and went on to San Jose State University. Growing up, my parents were in the Real Estate and construction industries and their hard work developed my understanding of both family and community: while cheering on my mom as she became a top producing Real Estate agent in the 1970's and 80's, I helped my dad build our family house in the foothills of San Jose. As an adult, much of my spare time has been spent in service to my communities. In 1996 I was recognized as one of the top volunteers in Santa Clara County for my work with at-risk youth and mentally disabled adults. Because of my commitment to my community, I was asked to be an Olympic Torch Bearer for the Olympic Games in Atlanta, representing the amazing, if often overlooked, diverse people of our local area.
In college, I found and fell in love with rugby and continued to play for 17 years after I earned my degree. Though no longer a player on the field, I stay connected to sports by serving on SJSU's Board of Directors for the Spartan Athletic Fund and by being a volunteer assistant coach for a local high school team. Before coaching high schoolers, I helped revitalize Santa Clara University's rugby program into their current highly ranked national standing. It's been an honor to be able to guide and support these young adults and see them grow into great human beings who are productive in their own communities. Nothing makes me more proud than when I talk to my past athletes and they tell me how much they appreciate what I was able to teach them about responsibility, time management, and creating a meaningful life.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, two dogs, family and friends, and cheering on my nieces and nephews in their school and extra-curricular events.
